Me and two buddies we all got stuck

Me and two buddies we all got stuck

Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 9:55 a.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Wyoming. The requester, Damian Ring, submitted the following information: “Me and two buddies were out in medicine bow and all got stuck 1 4Runner is bumper deep in snow my 2500 behind him spinning wheel trying to get him out and my buddys Durango behind me backwards pinned on a rock after punching through some snow. Any help would be great / I’m not with the vehicle”

Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 85-mile radius.

From the group group of local contacted volunteers we had Rory Nelson, who was 45 miles away taking over the recovery. He marked himself as engaging and a few hours later once he was available he was able to take care of the request.

We later received a few photos and a short note from Rory we share below.

Rory’s Notes:

3 stock stuck vehicles all from going off trail and driving through a rocky creek bed and runoff area. 2 recovered with gentle winching and 1 with a kenetic strap. Took about an hour and half.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Rory for responding to this request for assistance. As always, our volunteers continue to amaze us with their incredible dedication and support.
