I know it’s Christmas Eve but I need help

Tuesday, December 23rd, 2025, at 9:26 a.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Michigan. The requester, Nick Barry, submitted the following information: “Off west Edmund Woods road , Chevy 2500 suburban , 4wd, on a slight uphill , trees behind vehicle , passenger side is buried pretty good, I have pull straps, snatch block, etc, I know it’s Christmas Eve but I need help ASAP!! I will be around my vehicle . Just call me. / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.“

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 45-mile radius.

Although we lack extensive information about the recovery efforts, we do know that Dave and Tom were among the volunteers involved, and Nick expressed deep gratitude for their contributions.
