F250 Slid into fence

F250 Slid into fence

Monday, October 20th, 2025, at 10:08 a.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in New York. The requester, Mark George, submitted the following information: “Offroad while maintaining a solar farm. F250 Slid into fence. Able to use racking foundations as pivot points if needed. 2 Grob Rd Catskill NY will get you to our construction road. Take that to the top through the gate. / I’m with the vehicle”

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 40-mile radius.

From the group of volunteers who were contacted we had Liam Quackenbush who marked himself as engaging, and even though he couldn’t contact the requested directly, he decided to travel the distance, knowing the requester was trying to dig himself out. By the time Liam got there, the requester was free by himself.

The request was closed, but we still want to thank Liam, for not only offering help, but also for following thru driving the distance (40+ miles) to assist on this request. Sometimes is hard to keep the line of communications opened, specially when the requester is on the field actively trying to also dig himself out.
