Sunday, September 21st, 2025, at 10:07 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas. The requester, Cory Winston, submitted the following information: “It fell over the edge of a small muddy embankment / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 20-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Keith Tienken taking over the recovery. He later sent us some photos and a quick note we share below.

So I got there and found the sxs upside down in a wash out. The trailer in was a little too narrow for my truck. We grabbed some supplies and the highlift jack. Slowly we worked it into position and started getting it out. Then we had someone show up with a narrower vehicle and a winch to finish the recovery.
