Monday, July 7th, 2025, at 12:55 p.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Pennsylvania. The requester, Andrew Hilliard, submitted the following information: “High centered on a rock bank, jeep wrangler jku 35″ tires, I have fuel and can run, I only need pulled over the bank but I don’t have a winch, slightly muddy and grassy / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 45-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Chuck Sidelinger marking himself as engaging to help with this recovery.
By 8:30 p.m., the request was closed in our lobby. The recovery was successful.
We want to thank Chuck for such great job, also thank all other who responded and offered help with this request. You guys are amazing.
