Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at 11:57 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery near Klamath Falls, Oregon. The requester, Uriah, submitted the following information: “Sprague River, Tableland road past end of gravel (26529 is nearest addy), Continue half a mile, truck visible from the road, Big F450. I’m submitting for a family member. I’m in Klamath Falls. (Ticket submitted by Jared J Luckini, a friend) / I’m with the vehicle.”
Our administrator, David Mrak, received the request, verified the location and situation, and submitted the ticket to local volunteers. This request was received a few days after receiving the one from Caser (https://offroadportal.org/oregons-winch-fest-2024/).
We responded to the first recovery on Saturday, the 16th, and we were hoping to make this recovery with the other one since they were pretty close to each other.
The owner of this truck had a cabin 1/3 of a mile from the stuck truck, and they managed to get free in the afternoon before we got a chance to have volunteers over. (offroad recovery near Klamath Falls, Oregon 4×4 rescue, Oregon Offroad Recovery.)
