A good friend, mechanic, and very active volunteer on our platform Dave Kishpaugh, was in a car accident yesterday on 11/18/2024. Dave is the owner of Jeep West in Estacada, Oregon.
From what I understand, his foot is shattered. He is undergoing surgery today and will have a second surgery to repair his broken bones.
Dave has a long recovery ahead of him and, as you all know, he struggles sitting idle! Worrying about finances during his recovery will make it even more challenging.
Dave is always willing to go above and beyond to help people and will stop what he is working on to help anyone out. I’ve seen countless times being around Jeep West when people wander into the shop with issues, and he drops what he’s doing to help. I’ve seen him deny them when they offer to pay. I have countless stories of times Dave has gone above and beyond for me, my husband, and family, including rescuing me and my kid when my Jeep broke down. He stopped his day, put work on hold to come get me and my daughter off the side of the road, and towed my Jeep back to his shop. He didn’t ask for a dollar. It’s not a question in my mind that he would do the same for you and your loved ones too!
I ask that in his time of need we do the same for him. Let’s drop what we’re doing and lend him a helping hand. Let’s rally together for Dave!! Every little thing helps keep him on the path to recovery!got into an accident a few days ago.
