Xterra off-road 4lo with locking rear diff still stuck

Thursday, January 15th, 2026, at 11:44 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas. The requester, Jeffrey Galles, submitted the following information: “Xterra off-road 4lo with locking rear diff still stuck / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 135-mile radius.

The requester had already also asked for help to some local offroad groups, so we received the request and passed it to volunteers, but within a few minutes we were informed by the requester, help from a local group was coming.

Not longer than a couple hours later the requester informed us he was recovered.

We still want to thank all those who responded to the call for help and also to those local ones who actually performed the recovery. Awesome job!
