Wednesday, July 24th, 2024, at 1:58 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Nevada. The requester, Justin Dean, submitted the following information: “2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4 wheel drives not working high center need a winch backward or forward whatever ways easier I’m 1.3 miles off the road at Pabco road. / I’m with the vehicle“
After verifying the contact information and GPS location, we submitted the request to local volunteers within a 20-mile radius.
Within minutes of submitting the request, a bunch of volunteers started looking for ways to help. Brian Glicken offered to drive there after work, Tim Fast contributed information on the chat and Lucas Emery checked with local groups and found there were volunteers assisting from other groups.
We retained the ticket open until the vehicle was recovered.
Although we don’t have much information, on how the recovery was done, we still want to thank those volunteers involved from the group Offroad Recovery Las Vegas. You guys are awesome! (offroad recovery in Nevada)
