Wednesday, February 26th, 2025, at 3:26 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an off-road recovery near McMinnville, Oregon. The requester, Mario Reyes, submitted the following information: “Stuck in mud / I’m not with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, reached out to the requester to confirm their contact info, GPS location, and current situation before passing things along to our local volunteers. For this particular recovery, we focused on reaching out to volunteers within a 5-mile radius for this off-road recovery near McMinnville.
The request was kept open overnight while we double-checked with the farm owner to make sure we had permission to access the property.
The next day, one of our awesome volunteers, Chad Moye, stepped up and handled the recovery. By 4:00 p.m., the request was successfully closed. Big thanks to Chad and everyone who was ready to help!
