Thursday, April 17th, 2025, at 8:44 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Jayne Fraley, submitted the following information: “Forest rd 41n86, Chevy Silverado 1500, snow and mud wheels have spun into a hole, 5-10 feet from solid ground / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 30-mile radius.
We advise the requester to air down while trying to find him help, just to see if he could free himself.
One hour later, from the group of contacted volunteers we had Luka Anders taking over the request. Contacting the requester to coordinate.

We didn’t get much information from Luka, other than what we received from the requester thanking Luka for getting him out.

We want to thank Luka for a great job and all other volunteers who responded and participated in the lobby for their support. Thank you guys.
