My passenger side tires are not catching

Tuesday, October 14th, 2025, at 8:48 p.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Arizona. The requester, Austin Medina, submitted the following information: “I am on forest road 192, 5 miles out from Crown King following the 192 facing toward Forest road 711. I was making my way to hwy 89. My passenger side tires are not catching and that’s what’s causing me to be pinned. I have photos of where it’s stuck at and the road from the front and the back. / I’m with the vehicle”

Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 35-mile radius.

From the group of contacted volunteers who responded to the text message, we had Tony who took upon himself to keep an eye also on the Facebook post the requester made for help. From this post, Tony learned that William Parr, a local volunteer, was also getting involved in helping. By now, the time was about 10:30 p.m.

On the following morning, we were finally informed that one other volunteer from the Facebook group had completed the recovery process. They had successfully freed the vehicle from the rock where it had been high-centered.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to Tony, William, and all the other volunteers who generously contributed to this request. Your incredible efforts and dedication are truly remarkable.
