Jeep Wrangler JKU stuck in a mud hole

Jeep Wrangler JKU stuck in a mud hole

Sunday, November 2, 2025, at 7:26 p.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Pennsylvania. The requester, James Manning, submitted the following information: “Jeep Wrangler JKU. Stuck in a mud hole along a power line on the north side of the park. Keeps spinning, traction boards not helping. No winch, but plenty of trees though. Not currently with the vehicle, but can meet anyone there at any time. / I’m not with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 35-mile radius.

From the group of contacted local volunteers, a few individuals indicated their readiness to assist, while Joshua Gostomski took over the request after marking himself as engaged.

Joshua, approximately 30 miles away, arrived within two hours. By 8:00 p.m., the request was closed after Joshua informed us in our lobby that the recovery was complete.

We want to express our gratitude to Joshua for taking care of this request. As always, our volunteers demonstrate exceptional dedication and skill.
