Thursday, January 29th, 2026, at 5:28 a.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in New Mexico. The requester, John Franco , submitted the following information: “Hello , I’m stuck out here in the sands. Wheels keep spinning, I just need someone to pull me out 😩 / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Mario Przepiora, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 15-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Gary Kehler taking over the recovery. Marking himself as engaging and immediately driving toward the requester.

The recovery was pretty simple. Used a kinetic rope and pulled him out. Here is a pic of the vehicle in its stuck condition.
