Sunday, March 8th, 2026, at 6:27 p.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Utah. The requester, Jesse Francisco, submitted the following information: “I’m up at the parking area past ant flats in the took my f250 on the trail and slid off the road and got stuck / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 35-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Joseph Rikle and Todd Nebeker taking over the recovery. Both volunteers were located around 45+ miles from the incident. By 9 p.m. the request was closed, the vehicle recovered without any problems.
Todd a few days later sent us a quick note: “We didn’t take any pictures. It was a very simple Kinetic rope extraction.”

We sure appreciate Joseph and Todd’s help with this request. Great job.
