Sunday, May 10th, 2026, at 8:29 p.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in New Hampshire. The requester, Jennifer Frost, submitted the following information: “It’s a 1989 Toyota hilux that we tried to cross some washed out road and got water in the waterbox and shut off. The ground was pretty level until that front drivers side tire dipped down too low. We just need some help getting it out of the water and then we can take care from there. This happened yesterday afternoon so we aren’t out there now but can meet back at the truck no problem. More than happy to pay for assistance dragging her out. / I’m not with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 35-mile radius.

From the group of contacted volunteers we had Jeremy Ryan who was only 9-10 miles from this request taking over the recovery. He was available a few hours later. All we know is that Jeremy was able to communicate with Jennifer and coordinated the recovery.
We want to thank Jeremy for taking care of this request. Awesome job!
