Thursday, May 14th, 2026, at 7:41 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Genae Palmer, submitted the following information: “2016 ford fusion stuck in mud won’t drive forward or reverse backwards the whole driver side is in the mud and down on the frame so the car won’t budge or move trying to push it needing assistance asap. / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 20-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Todd Cook taking over the recovery. He didn’t have his Jeep but had his truck 4×4, so he decided to take a look himself to make sure he could be of help.
By 9:40 am, Todd announced in our lobby that the recovery was complete with an effortless pull. We want to express our gratitude to Todd for promptly addressing this recovery and providing exceptional care. Additionally, we want to acknowledge the other volunteers who offered their assistance and responded to our call for help.
