Tuesday, March 12th, 2024, at 7:29 p.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Michael Martinez, submitted the following information: “Bronco is stuck in deep water. Probably hydrolock. Need somebody with a winch. / I’m with the vehicle.”
We reached out to Michael, verified his location and situation, and added a couple of photos to the request. Once everything checked out, we submitted the request to local volunteers.
We thought his Bronco could be hydro-locked, something we have seen in the past with a few Broncos. We invited about 12 local volunteers, and from the bunch one, Andrew Hopper, was getting ready to go help when the requester announced he got a passerby to pull him out.
We still want to thank all the volunteers who responded to the request, and especially to Andrew, who was ready to drive toward the requester. (offroad recovery in Oklahoma)
