Last month we selected for the first time, two volunteers from the list of volunteers who needed to replace broken recovery gear. From the large list of people who submitted their request we selected two.
These two folks, one from Michigan, Jamie Crockett, while performing a recovery, got his kinetic rope swallowed by a swamp when the soft shackles broke. He was unable to replace it yet, so this was perfect timing for us to provide him with a Yankum Rope replacement.
The second volunteer selected was Shane Johnson, from Idaho, who reported in the submission form that all his recovery gear was stolen during a recovery; when he walked away from the vehicle to help, somebody came over and stole his Yankum Rope / Matt’s off-road recovery 30′ rope and his soft shackles. He also didn’t replace the kinetic rope yet.
They both were absolutely thrilled with the Yankum Kinetic Rope we sent them. Hopefully, in the near future, we will do this again to keep helping more volunteers who are helping others with Selflessness.
