Silverado stuck in two feet of snow

Silverado stuck in two feet of snow

Tuesday, April 15th, 2025, at 9:11 p.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Montana. The requester, Sean Sweeney, submitted the following information: “I could use some help big time. I’m stuck on the 4160 trail, in some deep snow. My truck is a ‘11 Silverado 1500 WT, 4×4. There’s no way I’m going to be able to get this out alone. Anyone that can come out please do! The roadways coming up have a couple of snow patches, but most up until where I am is low snow or dry. Text me if you can help. Very limited cell service in my current location. If the photos don’t attach to this post, please text me and I will try to send it to you that way. / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 60-mile radius.

From the group of contact volunteers we had Pam Kennedy taking over the recovery, marking as engaging and heading over toward the requester a couple hours later after receiving the request. They took care of the request perfectly and later sent us an amazing video we share below.
