Thursday, April 23rd, 2026, at 9:04 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Koren Gregg, submitted the following information: “Stuck in a water shed run passing through a field. 2015 Ford Explorer/Interseptor AWD. Terrain is at a slant. Soft damp sand. Center bottomed out. / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 25-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Andre Loayza taking over the recovery. We don’t have much more information, but the vehicle was recovered within the hour. We want to thank Andre for helping with this request.
