Sunday, March 10th, 2024, at 6:05 a.m. (ET), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in North Carolina. The requester, Jonathan Kauth, submitted the following information: “224 Vircassdell Ln, Mocksville, NC 27028 Is just past this address very soft ground from rain a flatbed tow could not reach it with the winch 2019 Ford Ranger 2 wheel drive. At the bottom of a hill about 30 meters away from the dirt road pictured in the Google Earth screenshot / I’m not with the vehicle.”
Our general administrator, David Mrak, organized this request, verified the information submitted, and, once everything checked out, sent the request to local volunteers.
By 8:00 a.m., we had Mark Shirk taking over the recovery. By 10:21, he closed the request and sent us a few photos. We want to thank Mark for his help with this recovery in North Carolina.
