Monday, March 18th, 2024, at 7:35 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Henry Quinteros, submitted the following information: “Toyota 4Runner 4×4 2021 and Nissan Pathfinder 1993 4×4 stuck on a forest trail with a patch of snow. We need to get pulled into the dirt patch like a hundred feet forward to escape. Stuck since last night. / I’m with the vehicle.“
David Mrak organized the request, contacted Henry, and verified the location, contact information, and current situation. A few minutes later, he sent the request to local volunteers.
We had a few volunteers offering to help later in the afternoon, like Erik Israelson and Jon Dahl. by 10 a.m., the requester managed to get the vehicle free by shoveling the entire area.
We closed the request by 11:24 a.m., but still want to thank those volunteers who offered to help. (offroad recovery in California)
