Saturday, June 1st, 2024, at 10:34 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas. The requester, Edward Cavazos, submitted the following information: “Hello. I hope you can help. My 2019 Nissan Sentra is stuck in the mud. I’ve tried all the tricks I found on the internet to get the car out of the mud with no success. I believe the only way to get my car out of the mud is by winch. I look forward to hearing back from you. / I’m with the vehicle.“
We verified the request since it was within city limits. Edward explained he was stuck at a vacant lot and only 30-40 feet from the road.
We submitted the request to local volunteers, and within 3 minutes, we had Misty Weddle offering to help since she was around the corner. The recovery was done in a few minutes.
We later contacted Misty and she shared with us, this recovery was pretty quick and she was able to get him out in a few minutes just by using her winch. She also mentioned she had helped this person in the past as well.
