Toyota Land Cruiser stuck

Toyota Land Cruiser stuck

Tuesday, April 1st, 2025, at 9:48 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Michelle Fan, submitted the following information: “I tried to drive over a hill of snow and got my car stuck on it. I’m in a 2002 Toyota Land Cruiser. Been digging and trying my traction boards but I am solidly sitting atop a snow hill / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 30-mile radius.

From the group of contacted volunteers we had Cody Robinson taking over the request, just 2 minutes after releasing the request. He marked himself as engaging, and announced he was on his way immediately after.

He got them out within 30 minutes and sent us a note and a few photos we share below a few days later.

From Cody

Nice young lady. Clean, stock Land Cruiser 200 series with good tires. High-centered on berm, looking for a spot to camp for the night. 1 light tug with the 3/8” kinetic line, and she was out and on her way.

We want to thank Cody for an amazing job, and a very fast response. That was awesome.
