Sunday, December 10th, 2023, at 8:50 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oregon, where Spencer Kasper got stuck while traveling with his trailer. He submitted the following description: “stuck in the mud. Pulling a trailer. The rear wheels are stuck. Please help. On a turn-off by a pump station near Knox rd on old coast hw. / I’m with the vehicle”
We contacted Spencer right away and verified the location and situation. It was late on Sunday; we passed the request to the local volunteers we have in the area. But had to expand our search to 60 miles to find some.
The following morning, Spencer, who was in our chatroom, updated us that a local volunteer had shown up and helped him get the trailer out.
We are thankful for the help of this volunteer who took care of this request and will continue to work to find more volunteers in this area. (offroad recovery in Oregon)
