Wednesday, March 5th, 2025, at 3:29 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Nevada. The requester, Jason Yosinski, submitted the following information: “We’re in a 2015 Ford Transit 350 (non-dually). Like the big Amazon vans. 2WD, unfortunately. Stuck in playa mud. We’ve tried digging out and using traction panels, which has worked a little but then we get stuck again. Area is probably easily navigable to any 4×4. We have plenty of food and water and have internet via starlink (so could e.g. do a video call to assess). / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 105-mile radius.
From the group of contact volunteers, we had our friends from 775 Offroad Road and Recovery taking care of this request. But before any volunteers were dispatched the were able to self recovered by deflating a bit and shoveling their way out.

A few hours after submitting the request we learned they were out, 775 kept us updated and also the requester. We still want to thank all volunteers who responded to the call for help and specially to the guys from 775 who as always, were amazing. (offroad recovery in Nevada)
