July 17th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. (MDT), a request for help with an offroad 4×4 recovery was received from South Dakota. Dennis Eisenbraun submitted the following information and photos: “We are trying to find help for tomorrow with daylight to attempt this recovery. Details: CanAm Commander is at bottom of ravine appr 60 yd with 80 degree slope. Located on Piedmont trail appr 1/4 mile from trailhead. / I’m with the vehicle“
We verified the contact information and location, gathered some photos and submitted to volunteers. We have very few volunteers in that particular state. We waited until the next day, and at noon, Dennis sent us a quick note letting us know he found a local company willing to recover the vehicle.
