Tuesday, December 05, 2023, at 9:35 a.m. (ET), we received a request for an offroad recovery; Mike Mosharo was stuck in mud in Michigan on his own farm. He submitted the following information: “2008 Avalanche stuck in the mud on a 40-acre parcel off Judd and Waltz rd in New Boston.
I just need to be pulled out of the spot I’m stuck in. / I’m not with the vehicle“.
The recovery request was handled by David Mrak, our administrator for the region. He contacted Mike, confirmed the location and contact information, and invited Mike to our Lobby to help coordinate his recovery.
By 9:56 a.m., we had Sean Gleason taking over the recovery and immediately engaging on this request. The previous day, Mike had a towing company on the property attempting to recover the vehicle, but they got stuck themselves and couldn’t get the vehicle out.
Sean used a kinetic rope and quickly got him out with a few pulls. He later sent us a few pictures. Mike later called us and expressed his immense gratitude for all the efforts of our organization’s volunteers.
