Tuesday, April 9th, 2024, at 8:39 p.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Idaho. The requester, Blake Miller, submitted the following information: “2 pickups stuck southeast of Rexburg maybe 25 min / I’m with the vehicle.”
One of our members, Blake Miller, got in trouble with a couple of trucks on a slushy/icy snowed road; he contacted us, so we started looking for volunteers. By 9:18 p.m., we had a couple of volunteers heading his way: Eric Erickson and Jason Shirley. When they started to drive over toward Blake, we heard from Blake that he had managed to get the vehicles out.
We still want to thank the volunteers who were willing to go late at night on a weekday. Thanks guys!
