Saturday, July 12, 2025, at 10:10 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Austin Gossett, submitted the following information: “Dodge Ram 3500 Dually stuck about 50 yards from somewhat solid ground & about 100 yards from the road. Will need a decent sized winch. / I’m with the vehicle / I can help cover the cost of fuel.”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 55-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Markus Cantrell taking over the recovery less than 30 minutes after releasing the request to volunteers. Markus was about 60 miles from this area.

He later reported on our lobby, this truck was suctioned to the frame but he was able to pull it out.
We want to thank Markus for the help with this recovery. As always, we never cease to be amazed by the efforts of our volunteers.
