April, 3rd, at noon, we received a recovery request for a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Paul pulled on the side of the trail to let two vehicles pass, but when he tried to go back into the road, he rolled over a large rock puncturing the oil pan. Without any oil left, he stopped the engine immediately and left the transmission in neutral.
Once we confirmed the ticket, we submitted it to volunteers. Less than 15 minutes later, Jym W., one of our volunteers, was already gearing up to help Paul. We don’t compete with towing services, so Jym pulled Paul down the trail to the main road, where he will have to call a towing service.
By 2,14 p.m., Jym had completed the recovery.
