If you find yourself stuck while out of cellphone range, you can use a Garmin Communicator or Ham Digital Radio to send us a message. Please include your GPS location, radio type (HAM/FRS), radio frequency (for HAM) or Channel and Sub-channel (for FRS), and a description of the situation so we can initiate a recovery.

On June 17, 2024, a request from Thomas Tucker for offroad recovery in Alabama was received after his truck rolled off a seawall. David Mrak organized local assistance, and volunteer Kurt Burge successfully recovered the vehicle using a winch setup, completing the task in 1.5 hours, addressing the situation with minimal property disruption.
