If you find yourself stuck while out of cellphone range, you can use a Garmin Communicator or Ham Digital Radio to send us a message. Please include your GPS location, radio type (HAM/FRS), radio frequency (for HAM) or Channel and Sub-channel (for FRS), and a description of the situation so we can initiate a recovery.

Stuck at a hill in Wildomar OHV
On June 11th, 2024, Anthony Vu requested offroad recovery assistance in Wildomar OHV, California. Stuck on a hill, he needed a winch out. Local volunteer Kyle Phillips responded quickly and freed the vehicle within an hour. Thanks to Kyle for his prompt and helpful assistance.

4runner in mud offroad recovery in Ohio
On June 11, 2024, a request for assistance with an offroad recovery in Ohio was submitted by Brandon Ward. Despite volunteers being far, many responded within an hour. Fortunately, Brandon freed his vehicle by 11:15 a.m. The organization thanked volunteers and encouraged more sign-ups for future requests.
I am stuck in about 5 feet of water
On June 11, 2024, Laurie Ellis requested offroad recovery assistance in Maine after becoming trapped in water with a Jeep. David Mrak organized the response, with volunteers Craig Pushard and Benjamin Jenkins assisting. Craig documented the challenging rescue, describing the vehicle’s complex extraction process. The recovery was successful thanks to Craig’s detailed efforts.
