Thursday, August 22, 2024, at 11:43 p.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Stan Q, submitted the following information: “2001 f150 in soft sand, buried to the frame / I’m with the vehicle“
The request was received around midnight; we verified the location, contact information, and situation before sending the request to local volunteers within a 60-mile radius.
Just a few minutes after sending the request to local volunteers, Kyle Hensley marked himself as engaging and contacted the requester to coordinate. Kyle and his green jeep were about 45 miles away from Stan.
By 2:00 a.m., the request was closed, Stan was out, and he texted us, letting us know he was extremely grateful to Kyle for helping him. Kyle shared with us the few photos shown below.
