Friday, 17th of February, at 11:08 a.m., we received a request for help from Oregon, where Sylas Roberts had left the vehicle behind. We confirmed the location of the vehicle and submitted the request to our local volunteers.
The request read: “I have a 2001 Jeep Wrangler that is stuck in a hole it dug itself in. Its not terribly stuck but does need to get pulled out. I couldn’t do it myself so i had to ditch it and get a ride home. Currently it is on Wright Butte near La Pine Or. Its about 3 Miles from the paved road and its uphill. / I’m not with the vehicle“
By 12:42 p.m., Alan Manges, a local volunteer, jumped into action and coordinated with Sylas to go get the vehicle out. By 3:30 p.m., Alan closed the request in our lobby announcing he got Sylas out.
