Saturday we received two recoveries, one from Lake County. The ticket was submitted by Tylan, who was hunting for rabbits when he went into a soft area and got stuck.
We tried to contact him for hours, finally he got back to us at the end of the day to let us know he had very bad reception where he was and after 9 hours he managed to free himself. I explained to him in that region, Lake County, we only have a handful of volunteers. He was thankful for our follow up.
The second request came from Harrison, a member of our page, who was south of Mt. Bachelor in his Subaru when he found himself stuck high centered in a patch of icy snow.
The recovery was received at 2:41 p.m. At 2:47 p.m. the ticket was submitted to volunteers and by 3:10 p.m., Luke Knutson marked himself engaged and took care of the recovery. by 3:42 p.m., Luke knutson closed the ticket and let us know everything went well.
