Sunday, at 7:15 a.m. (PST), we received a request for help from Texas, north of Dallas, where Rebecca Lewis found herself stuck in a dirt road while driving her Honda Odyssey.
Her request read: “Drove the vehicle on a dirt road, forgetting that it rained yesterday. Honda odyssey now stuck in the mud. There’s another odyssey also stuck there but our vehicle is the one with the Chicago cubs license plate holder. Entrance to prosper trail road from the near the intersection of teel and prosper trail is flooded. Will have to come from Legacy and prosper trail side. / I’m not with the vehicle“
After checking her contact information, we also checked her location and she also let us know she contacted several towing companies, but they refuse service because of how far into the mud she was.
We submitted the ticket to our volunteers and also our recovery partner Texas 4×4 Rescue and also a local facebook group North Texas Off-Road Recovery. From the last group we had a lot of volunteers offering to help. A volunteer took it all the way and got her out. His name Mark, Suhadolnik. He signup to access our lobby and coordinated in there with the rest of the volunteers.
By 10:18 a.m. (PST), he got her out and we closed the ticket. Thanks Mark!.
