Monday, January 29th, 2024, at 4:28 p.m. (CT), we received a request for an offroad recovery in Mobile, Alabama. The requester, Thomas Tucker, submitted the following information: “Hi, I’m off University and Bear Fork Road. I’m in an F-150 4×4 Texas edition, and I’m stuck in a sand bed and need assistance, please / I’m with the vehicle.“
We reached out to Thomas a few minutes later, confirmed the contact information and location, and requested a few photos. Once the ticket was ready, we submitted the request to local volunteers.
Short of a minute after sending the request to volunteers, we had Glenn Clark (From www.dumptruckguy.com) taking over the recovery. He reached out to Thomas and, by 6:00 p.m., closed the ticket.
He later sent a quick note: “No photos or notes, etc.; he was barely off hard ground. It was a very easy and non-eventful recovery.”
