Saturday, February 10th, 2024, at 9:36 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas. The requester, Angela Hendrickson, submitted the following information: “2008 Kia Sorento, blue, stuck in the mud trying to get back to the side road / I’m with the vehicle.“
David Mrak, our general administrator for U.S. verified the request, and immediately started looking for volunteers. In this area, the southern point of Texas we have very scarse volunteers. We had to expand the search to a radius of over 100 miles.
We kept the request opened for over 90 minutes, but after that the requester managed to find a towing service who could help her.
