Saturday, January 21st, at 12:00 p.m. (PST), we received an offroad recovery request for help from Oregon, where Melinda Marrocco found herself high-centered in her AWD SUV while driving thru Kingsley Guard Station Rd, 10 miles Southwest from Hood River.
Melinda shared with us: “I’m safe. Have water, food, service and gas. High centered I’m trying to dig out but there’s also a branch in the way. There’s a lot of snow up here. I put chains on but my clearance wasn’t enough.“
Our admin for the portal in Oregon, Tyler Lefebvre verified the contact information and prepared the request for the local volunteers.

The vehicle stuck was a stock Mazda. From the volunteers invited two jumped and worked on the recovery; Colby Turner and Tad Johnston. They both teamed-up and took care of getting her back down to a safe road.
By 2:30 p.m., they got Melinda out of trouble. Awesome work guys!
