Sunday at around midnight we received a recovery request from Mt. Hood where Matthew Allridge driving his Ford Expedition got stuck in the snow.
We confirmed the location and verified the contact information with Matthew, then submitted the request to or volunteers. After just a few minutes David Conrad took care of this recovery. We don’t have any photos but it was worth mentioning how fast the volunteers moved to get Matthew out of trouble.
I was able to get some notes from David, who shared with us the fact he showed Matthew that by deflating he could basically drive out of there himself. And he did, Matthew deflated and drove out of it. This is awesome because David also used this as an opportunity to share his knowledge!.
