Sunday, April 16th, 2023 at 6:18 a.m. (PST), our system received a request for an off-road recovery in the snow east of Sunriver, OR. The request was submitted by Brian Hudson, who was stuck in the snow driving his Jeep Wrangler.
His request information detailed: “I think we are on nf110 outside Sunriver. We are in a jeep wrangler 4×4 up to the frame in snow we have been here since about 5 p.m., yesterday. If we can get someone to pull us back a few feet we have it from there / I’m with the vehicle”

The ticket was handled by our administrator in the area, Tyler Lefebvre, he contacted the requester, got the information checked and by 7:20 a.m. submitted the ticket to volunteers.

By 7:26 a.m., Tim Kemper, a local volunteer contacted Brian and engaged on the recovery. A few minutes before 8:00, he closed the ticket, got Brian out, and later sent us some pictures. He used a snatch block, and pull Brian’s jeep from behind from a safe distance. The snow was icy and very slippery.
Thanks Tim, awesome job.
