Stuck in snow, offroad recovery in Washington

Stuck in snow, offroad recovery in Washington

Sunday, March 31st, 2024, at 4:24 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Washington. The requester, Dominic Fonseca, submitted the following information: “Stuck in the snow on NF-324 forest service road up to bethel Ridge in Wenatchee national forest. 2022 Ram 2500 4×4. / I’m with the vehicle.”

Brandon Brooks, one of our general administrators, verified the location, contact information, and situation. Once everything was checked, he submitted to local volunteers within a 60-mile radius.

We also shared this with our friend Benjamin, who belongs to the WORN Washington Offroad Recovery Network. He immediately shared with local volunteers who were closer to the request. We also had Colby Mercer on standby in case there was a need for extra help.

Some parts of this area were still closed due to groomed trails. So they had to be extra careful.

By 9:56 p.m., Benjamin updated us that everybody was back on the pavement. The request was finished.

We want to thank Colby, Benjamin, and all the WORN volunteers who were involved. Awesome job guys.
