Sunday, May 11st, 2025, at 10:35 p.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Oklahoma. The requester, Stanley Quach, submitted the following information: “Stuck in swampy wet muddy grass / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 55-mile radius.
From the group of contacted volunteers we had Todd Cook, who was about 50 miles from this request taking over the recovery. The request was completed in less than 2 hours. Stanley the requester was very appreciative of Todd’s help.
Todd, later sent us a couple photos and a quick note.
From Todd:
I set up on the hill to pull him forward do to the trailer thought best way. Used a snatch block back to my jeep.
I brought two friends with me that also have jeeps and used one for an anchor point.
We want to express our deepest gratitude to Todd for being such an exceptional volunteer. By the way, this marks Todd’s second recovery in this region.
