Tacoma stuck overnight

Tacoma stuck overnight

On Sunday, December 22, 2024, at 3:32 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an off-road recovery in Oregon. The requester, Damian Ramirez, submitted the following information: “We have all four wheels deep in mud. We have a 4×4 Tacoma that has been stuck since last night. I’m with the vehicle. I can help cover the cost of fuel.”

Our administrator, David Mrak, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 25-mile radius.

From the group of contacted volunteers, we had Isaac Nunez taking over the recovery with a crew from Klamath Falls offroad recovery.

Within a minute of the request being submitted, volunteers were already coordinating. The requester had stayed overnight and was low on fuel. Isaac and other volunteers quickly began planning how to provide the necessary help.

Isaac headed out with another rig, and both were about 25 miles from the requested location.

At around 8:00 p.m., Isaac and the second rig got stuck. Reinforcements were called, and by 9:00 p.m., everyone was safely out. All four vehicles were recovered.

While we don’t have all the details or the names of everyone involved, we do have a few photos shared by the group on Facebook. A huge thank you to all who helped—you’re amazing! (off-road recovery in Oregon)
