Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 12:32 p.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in California. The requester, Michael Rodriguez , submitted the following information: “Next to the wash in a Tahoe tired over 6 hrs trying to recover myself stuck in mud / I’m with the vehicle”
Our administrator, Al Fontan, contacted the requester and verified the contact information provided, GPS location, and current situation before sending the request to local volunteers. In this particular recovery, we contacted volunteers within a 20-mile radius.
We received another request from the same person the day before, so a few of our volunteers were confused to see the same vehicle stuck again. Regardless, a few hours later, after releasing the request, we had James Bardaro taking over the request and getting Michael out by 6:00 p.m.
A big shoutout to James for lending a hand with this recovery, and to all the volunteers who responded to our call for help with this offroad recovery in California.
