Friday, December 22nd, 2023, at 0:34 a.m. (CT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Texas. The requester, Clark Springs, submitted the following information: “I am stuck off of Kirkwood Boulevard in Southlake Texas. I’m in a 2020 silver tundra, 2 Wheel Dr. I am stuck in mud and need a winch about 120 150 feet maybe to air on the side of caution. / I’m with the vehicle“.
We contacted Clark right away, and after verifying the information and GPS location, we prepared the request for local volunteers.
From the local volunteers who responded to the late text message sent. One took over the recovery, Jonah Geders. He called Clark and coordinated with him directly. By 1:52 a.m., Jonah, closed the request and sent this quick note: “It wasn’t easy, but we did get him out and unstuck”.
