Saturday, August 10th, 2024, at 4:39 p.m. (MT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery in Idaho. The requester, Felicianna Vazquez, submitted the following information: “Truck is stuck in about 2 feet of mud at the top of a mountain on the way to Paris Ice caves coming from the west. / I’m not with the vehicle.”
After confirming her contact information and location, we sent the request to local volunteers within a 65-mile radius.
Within 20 minutes, Thomas Drysdale responded, ready to help despite being over 65 miles away. He marked himself as engaged and began the drive almost immediately.
However, a storm was approaching, and miscommunications arose between the requester and Thomas. By the time Thomas reached the area, Feliciana had already informed him that local help had arrived and the vehicle was free. (offroad recovery in Idaho)
Sometimes, things don’t go as planned, but we’re glad Feliciana got her vehicle back. A heartfelt thank you to Thomas for his willingness to go the extra mile—your commitment is truly appreciated.
