Saturday, March 30th, 2024, at 8:35 a.m. (PT), we received a request for help with an offroad recovery near Victorville, California. The requester, Joseph Gurrola, submitted the following information: “Two-wheel drive Dodge Ram buried in sand. / I’m with the vehicle”
David Mrak organized the request and verified the location, contact information, and situation before passing the ticket to local volunteers within a 10-mile radius of the incident.
Within the first five minutes, James Lego contacted a friend, KayFive, who took over the recovery. As always, Eddie Kochara made sure somebody was covering the request.
James kept us updated while KayFive performed the recovery. By 9:11 a.m., KayFive got the vehicle recovered.
Awesome job, everybody; we appreciate the help of all the volunteers involved.
